Jesus was intentional about taking his disciples away from their daily work as well as going off by himself to pray, rest and renew his body and spirit. Let’s do the same during a congregational retreat scheduled for Feb. 27-Mar 1 at Camp Koinonia.

This is a great opportunity to get away for renewal of body and spirit together as a congregation. Koinonia is a Lutheran camp located near Port Jervis, NY. We’ll stay in a beautiful conference center that offers high quality semi-private rooms with private bath (just like a hotel room) and a large open area with huge fireplace for program and free time. Their lovely 1,400+ acres provide opportunities for hiking, ice skating, tubing, or simply rolling in the snow (hopefully there will be some). Meals are provided and included in the price per person.

Partial scholarships are available.  DEADLINE FOR COMMITMENT IS Feb. 8.

  • Esther 5:1-14

7Then Esther said, "This is my petition and request: 8If I have won the king's favor, and if it pleases the king to grant my petition and fulfill my request, let the king and Haman come tomorrow to the banquet that I will prepare for them, and then I will do as the king has said."

Collecting Food for the Hungry and Homeless

As the weather begins to change, life for those who are hungry and homeless becomes even more difficult. Please bring non-perishable food items and place them in the baskets at the sanctuary entrance. The food we collect will be taken to the food pantry at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lower Eastside.

Healing Services

We offer brief healing services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month. These are powerful times of anointing and prayer. They are held in the sanctuary after the 11 AM service.
