Recently at GA

On June 26, GA will be hosting members of Pinecrest Lutheran Leadership School at the 11 AM service.

We will be participating in a celebration of the Eucharist that is representative of Pinecrest, with new music and various styles of worship. Each year at Pinecrest, campers are involved with a service project, most recently feeding the hungry in Sussex County, New Jersey, where Pinecrest is held.

This year, in a service project that will also serve to teach the campers of working conditions in clothing factories, campers will be making parts for shoes for the homeless. In order to make this happen, they are seeking donations of denim. Many of us have that old pair of jeans or denim jacket that we simply do not wear anymore. We are asking for donations of denim, in any condition, be brought to GA on or before June 26. Any questions, contact Zach Dean. Thanks for your continued support for the various ministries outside of GA!!!

Collecting Food for the Hungry and Homeless

As the weather begins to change, life for those who are hungry and homeless becomes even more difficult. Please bring non-perishable food items and place them in the baskets at the sanctuary entrance. The food we collect will be taken to the food pantry at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lower Eastside.

Healing Services

We offer brief healing services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month. These are powerful times of anointing and prayer. They are held in the sanctuary after the 11 AM service.
