Seafarers “Christmas-at-Sea” - Fill a small bag (provided) with several items for a seafarer who is far from home at Christmas.  Items: sweatshirt, socks, t-shirts, winter cap and snacks.  Information is available with the bag.  You can partner with another person too!  Please return to the church by Dec. 15th.

Christmas gifts for children in the shelter—The Women at St. Francis Xavier offers the opportunity to buy gifts for children residing in shelters.  They currently have 91 unclaimed children and only 3 weeks  remaining to cover all of them! Gifts can be delivered to Church of St. Francis Xavier.  92 kids from Picture the Homeless and STEPS to End Family Violence have been taken care of. Many thanks!

Collecting Food for the Hungry and Homeless

As the weather begins to change, life for those who are hungry and homeless becomes even more difficult. Please bring non-perishable food items and place them in the baskets at the sanctuary entrance. The food we collect will be taken to the food pantry at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lower Eastside.

 

Healing Services

We offer brief healing services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month. These are powerful times of anointing and prayer. They are held in the sanctuary after the 11 AM service.
