Prep crew - On Saturday morning, April 15, 10 a.m., we need volunteers to help decorate the sanctuary, plant flowers in front of the church, polish altar items, iron acolyte robes, and other tasks. Lunch will be provided!! It’s always a bunch of fun!! (We all try to keep up with Doris and Geri!!!)

Easter breakfast helpers - we will offer our traditional fantastic, hot Easter breakfast on April 16, at 10 a.m. We are looking for volunteers to help crack the eggs, flip the pancakes, serve the meal, (keep Deacon John in line), set the table, and help with clean up. Please come to the church by 9 a.m.

Bring muffins Easter Sunday – you are invited (encouraged!) to bring in muffins to share at the breakfast!!

Invite a friend for all of Holy Week – Our services will be rich and meaningful. Please invite folks who have no church home to experience the holy touch of God @GA!

Standing Against Hatred and Discrimination

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), stands against all forms of hatred and discrimination. The church believes that cultural, ethnic and racial differences should be seen and celebrated as what God intends them to be—blessings rather than means of oppression and discrimination.

Collecting Food for the Hungry and Homeless

As the weather begins to change, life for those who are hungry and homeless becomes even more difficult. Please bring non-perishable food items and place them in the baskets at the sanctuary entrance. The food we collect will be taken to the food pantry at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lower Eastside.

Healing Services

We offer brief healing services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month. These are powerful times of anointing and prayer. They are held in the sanctuary after the 11 AM service.
