CROSS MY HEART is something we may choose to say when making a commitment to keep a promise.  Promises are the hallmark of our life in Christs.  God’s promises to us and our promises to God shape us and empower us to live and serve together as people of faith.

Each week we will explore a different aspect of our life together, and how the weekly theme is at the heart of our faith.  How do these commitments appear?  What do they mean in the world today?

Mid-week Lenten Services will include a variety of beautiful hymns, scripture readings, and prayer.  Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross (Hymn #335) will be sung at every service.  After Pastor Harvard offers his reflections, we will also have an opportunity to share our own perspectives on the weekly topics.

As you make plans to join with us, you are encouraged to invite others to share in this Lenten discipline.  We are confident that the Holy Spirit will be with us to renew our commitments to grow in faith and knowledge of God’s life-changing word.

Your dream and the visions of your head as you lay in bed were these: 29To you, O king, as you lay in bed, came thoughts of what would be hereafter, and the revealer of mysteries disclosed to you what is to be.
