GA Holy Week Schedule (On Zoom)

Holy Week Clipart ImagePalm Sunday - Sunday March 28th at 11am
Maundy Thursday - Thursday, April 1st at 6:30pm
Good Friday - Friday, April 2nd at 3pm
Easter Saturday - Sunday, April 4th at 11am

This week we will travel through Holy Week together (virtually). We will experience Maundy Thursday and the washing of feet and hands. We will remember Good Friday and its sadness. We will rest on Easter Vigil, waiting with uncertainty for the future. Finally, we will celebrate on Easter Sunday with our Risen Lord triumphant. Hope is born anew.

We are an Easter People, but must journey through each of these days, especially the despair of Good Friday to celebrate our resurrection hope and joy!

We ask that you invite your family, friends, and neighbors to our digital worship services. This is a time when many come together to celebrate, but may we be able to celebrate together across our homes. All are welcome.

ELCA Anti-Racism Pledge

As church we are called to confess the sin of racism, condemn the ideology of white supremacy and strive for racial justice and peace. Beyond statements and prayers, we are also called to act and respond to injustices. We invite you to commit to anti-racist actions at ELCA.org/RacialJusticePledge.

Daily Bible Verse

  • John 8:21-38

34Jesus answered them, "Very truly, I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. 35The slave does not have a permanent place in the household; the son has a place there forever. 36So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
