The congregation of Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church would like to thank Pastor Harvard for his service. Pastor Harvard's final worship with us will be this Sunday, December 26th. We will have a supply pastor on January 2nd and then Pastor Stephanie starts on January 9th.

Pastor Harvard has been with us for over a year and helped us rebuild our joy, our spirits, and bring a new perspective to our worship. He guided us after the transition of our first interim pastors and led us into hybrid worship, making sure it was an inclusive experience. We then developed hybrid worship and virtual communion after pausing for over a year. Pastor Harvard guided us through the most unusual of times and kept our congregation lively and spirited. We wish him well and thank him for his service.

As church we are called to confess the sin of racism, condemn the ideology of white supremacy and strive for racial justice and peace. Beyond statements and prayers, we are also called to act and respond to injustices. We invite you to commit to anti-racist actions at ELCA.org/RacialJusticePledge.
