What's Happening at GA

Attention Young Professionals! Let’s join together for a weekend retreat @Koinonia in Highland Lake, NY. The weekend of Sept. 15-17 we will venture up to the woods to stay in a bunk-style cabin, experiencing God in nature; whether through worship, fun, gamers, kayaking, hiking, silent meditation—that is up to you! Primarily, this weekend will aim to foster community between new friends and old. So come on up, invite friends, and come and see what God has to offer through Camp Koinonia! Cost for the weekend is $85.00. For details, please talk to Zach Dean after worship.

Standing Against Hatred and Discrimination

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), stands against all forms of hatred and discrimination. The church believes that cultural, ethnic and racial differences should be seen and celebrated as what God intends them to be—blessings rather than means of oppression and discrimination.

Collecting Food for the Hungry and Homeless

As the weather begins to change, life for those who are hungry and homeless becomes even more difficult. Please bring non-perishable food items and place them in the baskets at the sanctuary entrance. The food we collect will be taken to the food pantry at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lower Eastside.

Healing Services

We offer brief healing services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month. These are powerful times of anointing and prayer. They are held in the sanctuary after the 11 AM service.

Daily Bible Verse
