What's Happening at GA

In-person worship policy:

  • Please arrive early to not clog the doorway (we recommend 10:30am-10:45am)
  • All worshipers must sign in upon arrival for contact tracing purposes
  • All participants must wear masks over their nose and mouth during the service
  • Participants are welcomed to speak prayers and sing aloud with masks on during the worship.
  • Continue to socially distance in the sanctuary (unless you sit with your household)
  • We are excited to return to the space. We are continuing to wait for new guidance from NY State, NYC, the CDC, and the Metro NY Synod and will update as necessary with the hope of returning more regularly in the fall.

ELCA Anti-Racism Pledge

As church we are called to confess the sin of racism, condemn the ideology of white supremacy and strive for racial justice and peace. Beyond statements and prayers, we are also called to act and respond to injustices. We invite you to commit to anti-racist actions at ELCA.org/RacialJusticePledge.

Daily Bible Verse

  • John 8:21-38

34Jesus answered them, "Very truly, I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. 35The slave does not have a permanent place in the household; the son has a place there forever. 36So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
