What's Happening at GA

Join us for LMHE's annual Trivia Night fundraiser for The Vine NYC Campus Ministry Network - at Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church (Madison Ave & 73rd St) in Manhattan - Friday, February 17 from 8-10:30 PM!  This is a new location which we hope will give us some more space to stretch out and allow us to highlight the multi-denominational nature our campus ministry work.

This annual fundraiser is a wonderful way to support ministry with college and graduate students, all while having a great time.

Teams of 6-8 play pub-style, general knowledge trivia over delicious snacks and beverages.  A congregation can send its own team or pair up with another congregation for a joint team. Also, teams of clergy, friends, family, etc. are welcome as well.  This year the theme is “Mardi Gras Matchup!” and it promises to be the ultimate event to attend before Lent. The winning team will be publicly acknowledged to be the most trivial in the region -- trophy included!

For details see: http://www.thevinenyc.org/trivia-night.html

If interested please reach out to Deacon Stephen (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). We hope to organize a GA team or send people to join other teams!

Daily Bible Verse

  • Proverbs 6:6-23

6Go to the ant, you lazybones; consider its ways, and be wise. 7Without having any chief or officer or ruler, 8it prepares its food in summer, and gathers its sustenance in harvest. 9How long will you lie there, O lazybones? When will you rise from your sleep?
