Study Series on The Lord's Prayer (Early Spring 2017)

The Lutheran Church will be commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation in October 2017. We have just finished watching and discussing an 8-part video series on the history of the Reformation.  Our Sunday morning adult group is digging into each part of Luther’s Small Catechism.  We are currently working on the Lord’s Prayer. We will hear what Luther had to say about it and reflect on its meaning in our lives and for our faith. Sunday mornings, 10 a.m. The coffee will be fresh and hot! Bring a friend.

Collecting Food for the Hungry and Homeless

As the weather begins to change, life for those who are hungry and homeless becomes even more difficult. Please bring non-perishable food items and place them in the baskets at the sanctuary entrance. The food we collect will be taken to the food pantry at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lower Eastside.

Healing Services

We offer brief healing services on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month. These are powerful times of anointing and prayer. They are held in the sanctuary after the 11 AM service.

Daily Bible Verse

  • Mark 10:32-34, 46-52

And they called the blind man, saying to him, "Take heart; get up, he is calling you." So throwing off his cloak, he sprang up and came to Jesus. Then Jesus said to him, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man said to him, "My teacher, let me see again." Jesus said to him, "Go; your faith has made you well." Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.
