  • Reformation Sunday - 10/25

On this day we celebrate the heart of our faith:  the gospel of Christ—the good news—that makes us free! We pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to unite the church today in its proclamation and witness to the world.

  • Sunday Of The Passion / Palm Sunday - 3/28

Even though we remain separated by the pandemic, as God's people we continue to gather around God's Word, confess our faith, sing our praises, and offer our prayers. Week in and week out, we give thanks for the technology and skills of individuals that enable this to take place. Join us this Sunday for worship at 11:00 via Zoom.

This week we hear from Isaiah, Philippians, and the Gospel of Mark. In this reading of Palm Sunday gospel reading, may we remember focusing our worship on Christ. As we walk the path with Jesus on Palm Sunday, we join crowds of pilgrims from millennia before preparing for festivals remembering God’s salvation.

  • Our Retretat - So When Life gives you Snow Storms... Make Lemonade

The nor’easter arriving this weekend is expected to pound Camp Koinonia badly:

    • 20” of snow, 50+ mph winds
    • Downed trees
    • Expected loss of power
    • Local schools closing
    • Trains being suspended…

forced us to postpone the annual GA retreat for this weekend.  (We are hoping to reschedule soon.)

Perhaps this doesn’t have to be a complete bust.  How about having a fun Friday “retreat night @GA?”  If you would like to meet Friday 3/2 at 7 p.m., to enjoy food, friends, faith and fun, let me know.

We could order pizza.  You could bring a snack to share and your favorite beverage.  And we could enjoy:

    • Karaoke (competition of course)
    • Corn hole (competition of course)
    • And several other new games Linda M. has come up with (competition of course)

If you’d like to “jump in” on this fun, please RSVP… ASAP… with LOVE!
